Project Gotoba
Sister blades in sandwich style steel construction

Steel construction
Three layer (Sandwich)
c = core steel, o = outer steel
Core steel
Dense and hard steel pieces of tamahagane are selected, and a little amount of soft steel pieces are added. Then, the core steel is forged out by 12 time foldings. It is a little bit softer than the edge steel what kokaji usually makes. But it still could be a sharp edge by proper tempering.

Outer steel
Various kinds of steel pieces of tamahagane are piled up together on the forging handle, and folded 9 times.

The steel block what constructed in that construction is drawn out to a log. And then, several blades are made out of the log. Two of the sisters are prepared for "project Gotoba".
Customers tried clay designing, heating, and quenching.
