Steel construction
Three layer (sandwich) style. The outer steel is made of mix forging with tamahagane and meteorite. => Sample of steel layers

Random qualities of tamahagane steel pieces and some meteorite pieces are put on the forging handle. And the steel is forged out after 8 time foldings.
Core steel
Dense and hard steel pieces are selected, and a little amount of soft steel pieces are added. Then, the core steel is forged out by 12 time foldings. It could be a sharp edge by proper tempering.
The outer steel and the core one are constructed with the sandwich style. Then, the steel block is drawn out roughly. Several tanto blades will be made out of the steel log.
